Recruitment process:
+ Telephone interviews
+ Face-to-face interviews
Responsibilities:
This position will be responsible for all improved and new technical processes in the injection molding department and the release for these processes for mass-production. Proactively organize all technical supports to production in order to solve the quality/quantity problems during regular production, internal and if necessary also external
Major Responsibilities:
+ Define and implement the right production injection molding process, according part, material, mould, machine requirements with the shortest possible cycle time
+ Ensure all processes can be applied within a reasonable window
+ Organize process release for every part, for every project, which includes tool release, parts release and manufacturing release
+ Ensure the related documents are complete, up to date and available for production, during the production
+ Ensure the process release for all new processes towards mass production
+ Setup tooling maintenance for every tool, together with toolshop
+ Monitor and supervise all non-released production
+ Manage a group of process engineers to establish above goals
+ Learn and implement new technologies and processes, related to injection molding
+ Act as team member for new projects and provide the necessary input for tool-design, material choice, machine choice, etc. to the project team
+ Ensure support to production, when the production department is not able to solve eventual quality issues
+ Organize and provide training towards the production department when necessary
+ Continues eye for cost reduction (Efficiency/Effectiveness, Eliminate Materials and Scrap Waste, Improving of Methodologies for molding processes)
+ Other tasks, assigned by the superiors
+ Train up those team members for accomplishing all assigned tasks/projects/improvement programs
Requirements:
+ More than 8 year experience in a multi-national production environment as polymer processing engineer or manager (or equivalent position) in injection molding area.
+ Experienced with ISO-9001 (TS16949 is plus)
+ 6 sigma knowledge is plus
+ Work according 5S method
+ Experienced in Lean manufacturing
+ Pro-active personality, able to take initiatives, with good communication skills, team work player and people's manager and motivator
+ Fluent in speaking, understanding and writing of both English and Chinese is required
+ Required technical skills: 6 sigma, Kaizen, 5S, Lean production, SMED
+ Good communication skills
+ Team work player
+ Fluent in speaking, understanding and writing of both English and Chinese is required
