Main Tasks (Key Accountabilities)
1.Business Management
Develops and executes pricing strategy for his accounts to deliver premium margins. Analyze the value chain, inventories, demand & supply in end market & his accounts. Information gathering of competitors’ prices, based on multi-sourced information. Reviews contractual agreements (e.g. with OEM & EMS) in cooperation with RBU/Legal, develops supply chain & product flow concepts per target countries & service partner management (e.g. UL compounders) for the related global 3C business. Accomplish/plans annual target agreements with all RBU’s/SBU’s per region.
2. Business Strategy
Supports to develop and executes the global E&E business strategy / appropriate business model. Defines target segments/applications, countries and product focus & related service packages. Actively manages the application life cycle & at his accounts. Market analysis including competitors & customers. SWOT analysis of Styrolution.
3. Taiwanese Global Key Account management (OEM & ODM’s)
- Lead all commercial and business development activities to maintain and grow business revenues and profits
- Develop pricing / marketing strategies that is in line with E&E objectives and guidelines set by RBU Product Managers.
- Price negotiation on a monthly basis based on pricing strategies.
- Manage forecast versus actual order accuracies to try to achieve 100% accuracy.
- Marketing and introduction of product portfolio so as to promote product diversification.
- Work with our plant’s Quality Centre to answer customers’ technical queries and solve quality issues should they occur.
- Co-ordinate and monitor activities like color-matching, resin part number application, molding trials.
- Manage customer’s requirements on regulatory and environmental affairs and communicate internally with colleagues from Technology and Production on these matters.
- Maintain customer relationship with R&D centers in USA and procurement departments in Singapore and China
- Develop healthy & maintains relationships with key persons through meeting, workshop & entertainment – develops accordingly powermaps.
- Manages customer requirements on regulatory and environmental affairs and internal communications.
4. Global/Regional EMS account management
- Focus on growing and diversifying the global business through penetration strategies and identification of opportunities.
- Formulate strategy for individual customers
- Develop and implement customers plans
- Communicate with key customer representatives to establish credibility and rapport.
- Provide timely solutions and response to customers’ problems and queries.
- Marketing and introduction of product portfolio.
- Oversee overall forecast, ordering, production, quality and shipping schedules to ensure best all round support for customer.
- Co-ordinate jointly with the E&E Team members activities at E&E Target accounts in Asia
- Obtain best possible production/shipping schedules for both customers and our plant through co-ordination with CSO and export co-ordinators.
- Meet and communicate with customers together on a regular basis so as to obtain and share latest updates on industry and market developments.
5.Monitor market conditions, competitive activities, general economic conditions and governmental, legislative and regulatory matters
Scouts trends for E&E, the service needs and intelligence on competitors activities/developments, etc. Collect/update/analyses industry developments & market data . Observes labeling trends/organizations. Monitor economic conditions, legislative and regulatory matters that could influence price of raw materials/products and the market demand. Report and communicate business conditions, opportunities effectively and regularly to internal colleagues.
6. Promote and develop new Styrenic applications and products
- Review product mix and direct the development of new market opportunities and requirements for existing and new products.
- Organize and conduct workshops, seminars at customers’.
- Research and identify opportunities to replace competitor products.
