Responsibilities:

Maintain up-to-date library of all US Government mandatory Certificates for imports

Schedule receipt of appropriate samples for Merchandisers, Customers and submit to Testing Labs

Track all samples being made timely by customers and being tested by Testing Lab to comply with agreed upon results per each order given

Document testing results to appropriate parties: Merchandisers, Shipping Team, and customers

Maintain good working relationships with all Testing Labs

Evaluate Testing Lab performance

Maintain Testing Tracker and provide estimated testing costs as required

Perform other related job functions and special projects as assigned by Manager

Required Qualifications:

At least 3 years experience in a trading company, experience with toys products is a plus, experience with crafts products will be beneficial

At least 2 year experience with product testing; firm understanding of testing concepts and objectives

Solid understanding of the testing regulations for USA, Europe and Canada as well as the testing methods used for same in the lab

Merchandising and Quality Assurance experience beneficial

Willingness and ability to learn US, Canada and EU product testing requirements and major retailer requirements

Skills and Abilities:

Bi-lingual, English and Mandarin, Cantonese is plus

Excellent analytical

Strong MS Office skills

Ability to multi-task

Detail orientated

Program Scheduling Skills to fit timelines

Cost negotiation skills (related to Lab costs)

Strong sense of responsibility

Strong communication and interpersonal skills
