Responsibilities:

1. Ensure financial statements of China sites are prepared timely and presented fairly in accordance with statutory and corporate requirement;

2. Follow corporate control policy to ensure daily process and procedures are compliance with laws and regulations;

3. Provide technical accounting support and decision making, especially in the areas of revenue recognition, restructuring, reserves and accruals;

4. Review contracts to ensure accounting and policy issues are identified, accounted for and dealt with appropriately;

5. Perform balance sheet account reconciliations, journal entries and other items associated with daily operation activities, month-end and quarter-end closing process for all China legal entities;

6. Support business leaders in China in improving financial services and compliance to meet their requirements in finance management.

7. Provide support for and coordination of audit activity and resources, both internal and external for all China legal entities.

8. Be responsible for all statutory requirements in China including but not limited to financial reports, tax analysis and computation, acting as key correspondence with China tax authorities and other government authorities;

9. Train and coach local finance teams of each China locations and lead initiatives in the light of corporate finance strategies and local business strategies.

Education / Experience:

1. Degree in Accounting or equivalent

2. 10 years working experience in Accounting & Finance in a MNC environment

3. Solid Experience with ERP system - Avente preferred

4. Strong analysis, problem solving and decision making skills

5. Self-driven and high level of integrity

6. Fluent in written and spoken English

7. Good business acumen and commercial understanding

8. Management & leadership skills with the ability to influence

9. Good communication & presentation skills
