Experience leading the design, deployment and support of Factory Automation Systems delivering factory hardware automation solutions, including robots in the solutions;
A working understanding of high volume manufacturing systems is a must;
Must have worked at senior levels in both strategic and implementation capacities;
Must have direct functional understanding of various aspects of the automation and robotics field, with prior work experience in the creating of machine design, integration or support;
Must be capable of forging relationships across groups and have the ability to negotiate and distill requirements down to their architectural elements;
Graduate of any Bachelors Degree in Engineering;
Minimum 7 years related experience in a technology based industry, where a mix of automated and manual assembly techniques is utilized;
Industrial Engineering experience working in both HMLV and LMHV assembly processes;
Knowledge of automation systems and tools - robotic, vision, material handling, ASRS, Conveyors, PLC, screws/fasteners, HMI, Pick-Place-Pack, Inspection/Test (Structural and Non-Contact e.g. Laser), Application of lasers e.g. Etching/Marking, Dispense process, Machining, Mechanicals (Soft Tooling, Hard tooling, Plastics, etc.);
Knowledge of Layout, Tooling/Fixturing, Demand Flow, Cell Concept and Lean Manufacturing and Simulation tools.
