Key responsibilities:
1. Assist the Product Development and Product Engineering Departments in the refinement and interpretation of their designs and communicate details to factories. Assist to Product Creation team to meet Buy Readiness.
2. Work with the factories’ and Timberland Production Departments to shorten the commercialization process and hit the buy readiness requirement.
3. Provide back up to ensure the compliance of commercialization time lines satisfying both production time frames and Stratham development.
4. Assist in coordinating critical path details with their factories.
5. Interface with the Sr. Commercialization Manager and resolve all of technical manufacturing issues which may impact production reliability.
6. Provide the factories with technical assistance in the correction of quality and production problems.
7. Oversee the production of the pilot lots of shoes.
8. Be aware of new ideas and concepts in shoemaking and materials. Alert Stratham to these points. Transmit production ideas to the Development Department.
9. Follow commercialization calendar and implement the model meeting company Buy Readiness due date.
10. Perform other duties required by supervisor.

We are looking for candidates with the following experience and skills:
1. College diploma or degree from recognized educational entity focusing on shoemaking or engineering.
2. 5-7 years shoe making experience as a technical shoemaker or pattern maker.?Working knowledge of design, pattern making, materials and experience with CAD/CAM design.
3. Preferred English in speaking, written, listening fluency.
