Job Title: Corporate Accounting Services Manager
Department: Corporate Accounting Services (CAS)
Business Card Title: CAS Manager
Report To: Regional Manager
Working Location: Dalian, China


Job Summary:

The Corporate Accounting Services Manager position requires the employee to ensure smooth implementation of operations relating to various services falling within the department’s scope. Such operations include but are not limited to ensuring client’s bookkeeping is managed in a thorough and efficient manner, making tax filings, reporting to clients in a timely manner, and handling miscellaneous accounting-related projects. The employee is also required to assist the Regional Manager with business development activities. The incumbent should possess adequate ability to communicate with clients (in English), manage the colleagues working in more junior positions, and be able to resolve problems and requests raised by clients during daily work. A high level of IT understanding is also required for this position, as ability to provide the above-mentioned services through various ERP platforms is an important aspect of the role.

Principal Responsibilities: (Essential Functions)

● Provide FIEs with various accounting-related services including but not limited to:
○ Ensure bookkeeping, accounting and reporting is made in accordance with applicable accounting regulations
○ Maintain and securely store the accounting vouchers, accounts and other documents of the clients
○ Assist the customers to improve internal capital / fund management, and provide proper consultancy related to the financial management of the clients
○ Regularly analyze and check accounting data, identifying and settling problems in a timely and accurate manner

● Provide services and advisory relating to taxation
○ Prepare and submit tax returns in time on behalf of the clients such as Individual Income Tax, Business Tax, Value Added Tax, Corporate Income Tax, etc.
○ Be responsible for communication with various government authorities and other related companies, including the tax authority, public finance office, banks and CPA firms

● Work within the company’s or the client’s ERP system to provide accounting services
○ Coordinate design of the financial modules within the ERP system according to the specific requirements of the client
○ Work within the ERP system and coordinate with other involved parties to ensure the operations of the company’s clients are accurately reflected in the managerial accounts

● Participate in accounting and taxation services relating to ad-hoc projects for clients

● Chase up CAS clients for outstanding receivables in an efficient manner

● Other tasks assigned by the Company

Job Requirements

Skills

? Excellent oral and written communication ability

? Good customer service attitude and skills

? Excellent in Chinese GAAP, IFRS, China tax law

? Able to instinctively understand ERP systems and how they can be utilized to manage a client’s accounting work and how they can link with other system utilized at group level by clients

? Independently able to prepare accounting vouchers, ledgers and financial statements in English in a timely, accurate & efficient manner for multiple clients (Wholly Owned Foreign Invested Enterprises / Representative Offices)

? Can provide reliable information relating to accounting & tax compliance and reporting package upon client’s request

? Good spoken and written English and Mandarin

? Be flexible enough to adapt to working under tight deadlines

? Reliable and accurate; with effective problem-solving skills and ability to work as a good team player

Educational Background

? Bachelor/above degree, major in accounting or taxation

? Possession of certification as a Chinese professional accountant

Experience

? At least 8 years full-time related working experiences in Wholly Owned Foreign Invested Enterprises or an accounting outsourcing team in an accounting/consulting firm or similar role

? Experience of implementation and provision of accountancy services in a manufacturing or trading environment through an ERP system such as SAP, Oracle, MS AXD etc.

Working Relations

? Maintain good relations across departments to resolve client problems

? Effectively communicate with both internal and external clients

? Develop communication and working relationship with Supervisor
