Understand H&M trends, customer, concept to identify the right suppliers and provide sample according to request.
DEVELOP MATERIAL & SUPPORT PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT
Support Designer to develop:
- Material (includes fabric, Outsole, Heel, etc..)
- Trims (zipper, buckles, etc..)
- Final product
Drive the development to ensure best options, qualities, prices, lead times.
Support Quotation Merchandiser with Stuk appropriate options on material/ qualities specific to product.
Interpret concept to Product.
Work with suppliers to develop their capabilities on qualities
COMMUNICATION AND COOPERATION
Create a good and open dialogue with your colleagues.
With Designer: Be the only link between Designer in SEBO and PO
Keep Designer informed of Developments status
With the Material team / Trims team and Innovation team in PO to secure STUK.
With Technician/ QA to secure Quality and fitting
With Senior Merchandiser to choose the Best suppliers / Development center to develop our product (according PM strategy)
With Quotation Merchandiser to provide FINAL sample according request and timeline
COOPERATION WITH SUPPLIERS
Work mainly in supplier sample room or/and DC and secure PRODUCT (Quality / Lead Time / Price) according Designer request.
RECORD & DATA
Be responsible of sample LT input in OFS form Final product Decision request until approved Sample
Be responsible for all Development Sample in the office and keep storage and office area clean and tidy.
