Purpose of Position:
To provide senior professional technology support in the configuration, maintenance, modification and implementation of all ITD deployed technologies/systems with the objective to support business goal.
Minimum Requirements:
Education:
1. Bachelor's Degree or equivalent* in Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering, MIS or related discipline;
2. Certification may be required based on business needs.
Experience:
1. Minimum two (2) years of professional experience in installing, maintaining and diagnosing information technology, voice and data communications or IT systems;
2. Experience in systems engineering with appropriate operating systems/database software and/or experience in networking and telecommunications and/or experience in computer and network operations is an advantage.
Technical Expertise:
1. Demonstrated knowledge in one or more of the following
1) Major Operating Systems, including Unix, Linux, MS Windows, etc;
2) Major DBMS including Oracle, Sybase, MS SQL, etc;
3) Network technologies including WAN, LAN, WLAN, etc;
4) Applications software support;
5) Project Management;
6) Information Security technologies;
7) Telephony system like IPT support;
2. Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
