Position Quantity Surveyor (Structural & Piping)They must be able to converse and write in English and Chinese. Quantity Surveyor-Desciption (More details) Duties and Responsibilities: ?; Review Contract documents, with its provisions and qualifications, and highlight any deviations?; Prepare Change Order Requests (COR) for all disciplines, including Material Take-off (MTO) and Costing essential to justify Claims.?; Coordinate with the Engineering/Design Department and the QA/QC Department in gathering pertinent documents to support Change Order claim.?; Negotiate CORs during Weekly Commercial Meetings and further substantiate Claims.?; Maintain & update Change Order Register and prepare Weekly & Monthly COR Reports.?; Quantify the quantum of work done in terms of tonnage, area, volume, length, et.al. (Remeasurement)?; Source suppliers, negotiate and facilitate purchase of Materials essential to Project Completion (in coordination with Procurement Dept.)?; Source & negotiate with subcontractors in coordination with Contracts Dept. for awarding of contracts?; Verify subcontractors progress billings and additional claims?; Prepare Minutes of Meeting for the Weekly Progress Meetings with Client and the Weekly Commercial Meeting.?; Monitor Actual Project Cost against Budget and prepare Cost Analysis/Project Financial Reports?; Prepare Milestone Claims to Client and Monitor Project Cash Flow ?; Attends Weekly Commercial Meetings with Yard

Experience with QUANTITY SURVEYOR, YARD ESTIMATOR, COMMERCIAL ENGINEER or SUPERVISOR is preferable Experience in Business Dep. in shipyard and Business Dep. leader is preferable
