职位描述
Job Description:
1. Lead the selection, development and evaluation of a team of 120 employees located in Suzhou. Drive employee engagement to and ensure service level and continuity.
2. Manager the monthly, quarterly and annual closing processes. Establishes operational objectives and work plans and effectively delegate assignments to subordinates.
3. Monitor process performance against established Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) and Service Level Agreements. Drive continuous process improvement and process quality initiatives to ensure that processes are optimized for both efficiency and effectiveness.
4. Oversee the adherence to established accounting standards (IFRS and local GAAP) and to company policies, processes and procedures. Ensure that an effective internal control environment is maintained to safeguard company assets. Recommend enhancements to accounting policies, practices and internal controls.
5. Partner and collaborate with country controllers and other functional stakeholders to manage internal customer satisfaction and strong working relationships. Drive ongoing process consolidation initiatives and standardization of processes across the region. Use of persuasion and influence with key stakeholders to effectively drive and manage change.
6. Coordinate and oversee audits by company internal audit, KPMG and Government authorities.
7. Support the transition of accounting operations from stand-alone business entities to SSC through a close working relationship with the SSC transition team and business units, ensuring effective change management and functional readiness.
Qualification:
· Educational Level: University Degree in Accounting or related field.
· Working Experience: 10 or more years of relevant and progressive accounting experience is required with a minimum of 3 years of prior management experience leading a team of more than 10 employees.
· Language Skills: Fluent in both English and Mandarin.
· Strong accounting and internal controls knowledge.
· Strong communication skills including a good command of English and Chinese.
· Proven record of leadership, problem solving and implementing process improvement.
· Experience with a shared services organization or leading projects cross the Asia Pacific region.
· Change agent and project management skills.
· Experience with ERP business systems and including SAP implementation.
· Multi-national corporation experience.
