Ocean Import Supervisor for a global freight forwarding company
Location: Shanghai
The Client:
Our client is a medium-size global freight forwarding company, and looking for a candidate with solid freight forwarding ocean import experience to be the team leader role.

Key Responsibility:
- Be responsible for all daily operation, problem solving, complaints, damage claim.
- Be responsible for staff training, data quality control and his/her direct subordinates performance.
- Be responsible for timely and accurate billing & file closing in the department.
- Manage job distribution and set up working instructions.
- Design a customized solution / SOP for customer if required.
- Maintain working relationships with key customers and key vendors.
- Develop new / potential customers through daily operation.

Key Requirement:
- At least 6 years ocean import experience in 3PL freight forwarding company, 3 years+ management experience in this area
- Industry knowledge for handling procedures of ocean freight import; Skillful communication with internal and external organization; Good computer / office skills; good spoken & written English, and Mandarin.
- Accountable & responsible, positive attitude under high pressure, international mindset, diplomatic, influencing & decisive, extrovert personality with strong relationship building capabilities, energetic Initiative, customer self-oriented and good communication skill;
Can work independently, high team spirits, abilities to continuously coach subordinate.
- Global view and sense.
- Creative problem solving capability.
- Advanced interpersonal communication skills.
