Major Job Responsibilities
- Develop data based market entry / investment / M&A strategies for a variety of Corning businesses in China, in conjunction with the concerned divisions
- Lead cross functional teams to deliver on such strategies
- Communicate and advise senior management within the various divisions and Corning China
- Work with global business divisions to deploy the strategies that are developed
- Identify short term incremental sales/cost reduction opportunities for Corning businesses in China
- Work in partnership with China-based sales teams to develop customer interaction plans, distributor incentives, and other tactical commercial initiatives
- Collaborate with technology community and/or business divisions to devise strategy for potential technology commercialization and new business development in the region

Candidate Background
Requirements:
- China and/or Asia working experience with proven track record (6 years+ for manager and 3 years + for analyst)
- Experience working with multinational companies in a strategy development or strategy process management function
- Strong analytic/problem-solving skills with experience in dealing with complex business issues
- A good combination of strategic thinking and operational execution
- Capable of senior management communication & engagement
- Demonstrated leadership in managing project & people
- Top-ranking MBA
- Fluency in Mandarin and English

Preferred:
- Professional experience in a top-tier management consulting firm (3-4 years for manager/2-3 years for analyst)
- Experience in the consumer electronics, telecommunication, new energy or automotive industries
- Undergraduate degree focused on a technical area of study
