职位描述
The main objective of the Supplier Quality Manager (SQM) is to proactively develop and continuously control the performance of potential and existing suppliers. He/she implements relevant strategies, rules and targets as defined in the yearly strategic plan (AOP) in such a way that the business and commodity objectives are met. He / she develops and coordinates supplier quality resources. This quality professional drives the early involvement of suppliers in new product development and product/component improvement. The SQM is the linking pin to the commodity team on supplier quality aspects.
Scope of the position holder is the suppliers assigned to him/her (his/hers Supplier Quality team).
· Ensures the annual definition of the quality improvement plan (QIP) for major BOM suppliers based on business needs, ensures timely implementation.
· Defines and implements the supplier quality strategy based on business and commodity requirements translating the various QIP’s into one overall quality improvement plan for the assigned supply base.
· Drives on-site / off-site supplier quality development including coordination /management of required internal/external resources
· Drives the early involvement of suppliers in new product development and product/component improvement
· Provides supplier quality related input for the AOP on the appropriate business level.
· Coaches and manages the SQE team ensuring the competences and capabilities are in line with the business needs.
· Acts as first escalation level for the SQE’s.
· Manages quality conformity of supplies via active monitoring of the supplier performance and driving the incident and complaint resolution
· Performs quality / sustainability audits, re-audits and performance management at suppliers ensuring the follow-up of agreed actions at the suppliers.
· Sets, assesses and decides (Veto) on the quality aspects in the Supplier Selection process.
· Ensures the timely and correct GSRS data-input
· Deploys and follows-up on the Supplier Quality Related KPI’s towards the supplier.
· Sets supplier quality aspects for new / improved products ensuring a.o. manufacturability aspects at suppliers (improve supplied quality)
· Owns, prepares and approves the quality contracts with suppliers (e.g. PQA / MQA)
· Manages and reports incident related liability recovery (CoNQ)
· Ensures the components/ products at the supplier are released according agreed specification and quality requirements (APQP / PPAP).
· Participate in the business review meeting with assigned suppliers representing SQ.
· Ensures the assigned supply base meets the Philips sustainability requirements.
Education and experience
· Bachelor or master degree in a technical area with knowledge of process and product improvement processes.
· At least 5 years of experience in Quality, Procurement, BPO or Supply Chain with a proven track record in (supplier) quality and/or procurement
· Familiar with Quality tools (e.g. APQP, PPAP, D and P-FMEA, MSA, control plans
· Experience with Design for Assembly & Manufacturing, reverse engineering and/ or other Value Engineering tools is required
· Experience with modern engineering methods, tools and processes including statistical analyses of data (Cpk, DoE, SPC, regression etc.).
· Experience with quality management systems (e.g. auditing, ISO and QS9000).
· Fluent in English

· Strategic as well as “hands on” mindset with preferable experience in change management;
· Analytical, creative and abstract thinker (ability to break down problems, systematically identify causes and develop solutions).
· Comfortable with managing diverse teams, who can develop a performance-oriented team and build a strong bench of talent;
· Disciplined team worker but also able to work independent.
· Highly collaborative and able to work effectively outside the sphere of direct influence
