OPERAION DIRECTOR
Position Description:
This is a general management leadership position responsible for directing all activities related to the *** Business Unit in the PRC. This position has a dual reporting structure into the
VP of New Product Development & Manufacturing and to the President, based in the US.
Major Responsibilities:
?？Define and develop operational strategies leading cross functional initiatives with Purchasing,
Engineering, Supply Planning, Manufacturing and Quality Teams that deliver on business unit
objectives and needs.
?？Support functional managers in recruiting, developing and coaching all cross functional team
members dedicated to Accessories in the PRC.
?？Drive global coordination and collaboration between US and PRC teams.
?？Implement Accessories PRC processes and capabilities in the areas of supplier assessment,
supplier selection, supplier development, supplier management, project management, design
engineering, manufacturing engineering, and product testing.
?？Direct new product and/or manufacturing process development activities in support of the
Accessories BU Product Road Plan.
?？Ensure all projects are complete on time, at cost, and within budget, while achieving overall
design and quality specifications of the business.
?？Collaborate with Global Accessories Team to enhance the VIGOR NPD Process for Accessories
and to develop needed business processes.
?？Develop budgets and resource plans.

Qualifications and Requirements:
?10 to 15 years of leadership experience working for international companies in roles that include product development, sourcing or manufacturing.
?？Experience in managing and developing suppliers is required.
?？Experience in managing an engineering department is preferred.
?？Superior English communication skills required; Mandarin language proficiency preferred.
?？Must be a self-starter, hands-on and able to work in fast paced environment.
?？Must be willing and able to travel up to 50%.
?？Engineering degree preferred.
