KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES :
A - Business Management
1. Business Development strategy:
? Achieve annual Sales objectives for the POS on the assigned territory and nearby cities to be defined by the management. Follow up on a weekly, monthly, quarterly and yearly basis.
? Work closely with Area Sales Manager to develop an Annual Budget to present to Hub Sales Manager for approval
All the above with particular focus on:
? Direct retail strategy execution
- Identify further relevant shop opportunities for Owned stores
? Indirect retail strategy
- Identify further relevant shop opportunities for SIS (corners in department stores)
2. Implementation of annual Development plan:
? Build and motivate adequate Retail management and sales team alongside with sales revenues growth
? In coordination with his/her team s/he:
- defines profitable positioning and targets specific high potential locations in order to increase the Brand perceived value
- opens and kicks start new shops and implement the merchandising concept developed by Global Marketing and run first traffic increasing activities in order to maximize sales
- constantly monitors and optimizes POS performance by organizing local events and implementing adverstising campaigns
- ensures that – within the global retail catalogue – the product offer in the shops is relevant to the customer profile of the area and focus energy on increasing traffic / conversation rate / sales of adjacent products.
- trains retail staff on IT systems and relevant procedures and ensurse disciplined compliance
- ensures that shop managers and staff are regularly trained on product knowledge and selling techniques
3. Deliver strong contribution:
? Across the company
- Display a professional, efficient, fair and trustworthy way of working
- Ensure fluid information flow up and down
? To Marketing
- Participate into all events and processes needed
- Give feedback on market evolution and important Key Customer’s / Account’s reactions
? To Supply Chain
- Monitor Out of Stock, Overstocks and End of life sales
B – People Management
? Make each member of the team a high performer (motivating exemplarity, clear targets, result monitoring, regular feedbacks, …)
? Seek approval from Area Sales Manager and lead - in coordination with Global and Asia HR - recruitments, training, coaching and dismissals
? Coach and train Sales Managers in management techniques, sales performance focus and merchandising skills
? Review performance of Sales Force
? Ensure administration of sales force
