Oversee and manage all aspects of the assigned commodities

Research and qualify new suppliers in accordance with corporate guidelines

Lead Negotiator on assigned commodities

Give guidance and intelligence to the business at large on market conditions

Lead sourcing activity on assigned commodities

Conduct and report on quarterly business reviews with suppliers

Maintain and manage total costs in line with business goals

Challenge supplier status quo on price points

Work with other commodity managers on leverage buys and opportunities

Manage Inventory levels of assigned commodities to set metrics

Manage and dispose of E & O

Achieve cost savings in line with outlined metrics
