Responsibilities:
Plan, direct, and monitor all plant engineering activities.Activities may include: industrialization, process engineering, packaging engineering, manufacturing equipment’s’ maintenance, facility, etc.

Main accountabilities:
*Develop and implement engineering departmentplans, schedules and procedures to ensure that resources are used effectively and that work schedules and targets are met.
*Work closely with industrialization, purchasing and project team to qualify new equipment suppliers, and put effort on automation for new project.
*Lead and organize the team of engineers and technicians to ensure smooth introduction of new equipment and new equipment processes to achieve optimum equipment usage, uptime and yield enhancement to customer satisfaction.
*Develop and implement repair and maintenance procedures; Responsible for daily production operation for Processes & Machines; ensure proper maintenance for manufacturing equipmentto avoid downtime.
*Develops and specifies new and revised packaging, gives advice in the development and implementation process improvements.
*Manage the day-to-day activities of a team of engineers and technicians who design manufacturing processes and specifications that will improve the efficiency and productivity of the organization’s manufacturing operations.
*Ensure proper maintenance of all facility equipment to avoid downtime and ensure all safety equipment are in good orders at all time. Establish and maintain good safety and housekeeping practices among employees.
*Directs personnel activities of department, such as recruitment, hiring, performance evaluations, and salary adjustments.
*Other tasks assigned from plant General Manager.

Requirements:
University Degree or Above.
Fluent written and spoken English.
10 years above work experience with more than 5 years managing position, especially has focused on 3 or more functions in Engineering, i.e. industrialization, process engineering, packaging engineering, maintenance, facility, etc.
Specific Knowledge: (Technical/Product, Organisational and Interpersonal).
Good communication skills.
