Job Responsibilities:

-Responsible to organize and perform quality control activities, including but not limited to, the workshops inspections at Suppliers during fabrication, and/or the quality monitoring and supervision at the jobsite.
-Represent and implement the project's requirements for quality;
-Organize the Pre-inspection meeting, explain project's specification details to Suppliers &. Manufacture prior MP;
-Review QC documentation (SOP,PPAP, Inspection report, traceability sheet, etc…) submitted by Suppliers or Manufacture; And write new SOP/QC procedures.

-Coordinate the Third Party Inspector’s inspection activities if necessary;

-Inspect fabrication & installation work onsite and ensure that quality is within project's specifications;

-Monitor the Manufacture performance in respect of quality & safety during in any process;

-Report to QA/QC Manager and Engineering Director in case of deviations and non-conformance from specification; Release NCR and supervise manufacture to take corrective measures and follow up the corrective actions;

-Participate in prequalification and coordinate with Company’s auditor for new Suppliers or Manufacture;

-Weekly/Monthly report for Quality Issues to QA/QC Manager and Director of Engineering

Requirements:

-College degree in Mechanical, mould engineering
-With international trading or foreign company working experience would be appreciated
-Experience in international projects in China in respect to quality control would be helpful
-3+ years of QC inspection experience in the Mechanical industry

-Can use basic measurement tools, such as caliper, micrometer, profile projector, hardness test machine etc.
-Knowledge of ASME, ASTM, AISI, GB, ISO, and/or / US and European standards would be helpful
-Familiar with Mechanical inspection and testing methods

-Good communication skills at all levels within an organization
-Shall be pro-active and open for continuous improvement

-Shall be able to communicate in English both written and verbal skills. Must be able to understand how to achieve project goals with factory personnel (all levels) and do such in a professional manner. Must be able to enroll the factory/customers into high level QC/MP performance while maintaining good relationships. Research new vendors and qualify them to meet mass production needs.

-Travel time can be as much as 80% of the year to various locations in China.

-Be able to read 2d drawings, and have some CAD experience. Have experience in Windows Office products. Understanding of Solidworks is an advantage.

-Shall be on call 24-7, be able to travel to remote factories for 3-4 days per week, work night shifts

Have experience in manufacturing plastic parts (blow and injection molding) , metal stamping, tube bending, fixture design.
