COLOUR&PRINT SPECIALIST

We are currently looking for an experienced Colour& Print Specialist to work in our Colour team reporting to colour& print manager.

Responsibilities:

· Close collaborate with internal partners/ external business partners to ensure appropriate colour comments and risks whilst maintaining Design intent during development stage related to colour/print.

· Manage all colour approval job on raw material in time and monitor supplier performance in line with the company colour evaluation procedure.

· Build and sustain colour standards and assessing environment

· Coordinate with suppliers to improve colour and colourfastness management performance through continuous improvement actions

· Actively engage and work with suppliers and their upper stream supplier chain to mitigate or improve the issues on product quality

· Maintain files and register relative detail information into tracker and continuity card.

· Assist R&D to develop print in line with company procedure, and follow up status.

Skills, Knowledge & Abilities:

· Have a thorough understanding of visual and instrumental colour evaluation procedures

· Effective colour communication skills using the “Standard Language” to provide colour direction, be able to help factories on improved lab dips and strike-off with solutions;

· All files such as colour standards and colour manuals to be maintained

Criteria:

· Higher Diploma in Textile/Colour Engineering.

· Minimum 3 years relevant working experience in fabric colour field and prefer to have experience in dyeing/finishing mills.

• Excellent colour vision and experience of numerical colour measurement.
• Capable of making sound judgement on colour deviations and providing candid advice to supplier and dyeing house to achieve required colours
• Fabric Technical understanding/appreciation
• Basic print technical knowledge will be a plus
• Good interpersonal and communication skills, good team player
• Able to communicate efficiency in both written and verbal English
• Strong proficiency in MS Windows based software(Excel, Word, Access)
