Description:

This position will be responsible for both execution and improvements in Manufacturing

Execution:

- Manage the launch of New Products

- Manage the manufacturing, including fostering relation with Contract Manufacturing

Improvement:

- Product cost reductions

- RMA process

- Business expansion and diversification

Responsibilities:

1. Manage a team of process, industrial and electric engineers

2. Monitor day-to-day production and operations of sub-contractor(s). Ensure MPS requirements are well fulfilled in terms of capacity, on-time delivery, cost and quality

3. Plan and manage product transfer between sites

4. Monitor and support New Products Introduction

5. Review and improve processes of Operation and NPI

6. Create periodical reports regarding execution and efficiency. Support Conference calls as needed

7. Calculate annual budget for Manufacturing and NPI. Manage a cost center

8. Review and submit approvals for equipment, including capital assets

9. Assist with Cost reduction and RMA strategy

10. Assist with business development and efficiency improvements

11. Work with sub-contractor and lead initiatives for continuous improvement in production in terms of cost with respect to quality and on time delivery

12. Coordinate between MPS and sub-contractor. Continuously improve collaboration between MPS and sub-contractor

13. Travel local and international, as needed

Education / Experience:

l Degree holder preferably in industrial or process engineering discipline.

l 10+ year experience in sized international companies in electronic/electric manufacturing.

l 5+ year experience in production management position.

l Proficient in production planning, process control, quality control

l Lean manufacturing and Six Sigma background

l Excellent management skills and communication skills as well.

l Fluent in both English and Mandarin. Cantonese speaking is a plus.

l Proficient in Excel and Powerpoint
