Summary of Client:
Our client is a global leader in the sporting goods industry and offers a broad portfolio of products, including state-of-the-art sports footwear, apparel and accessories. Now her sourcing company in Guangzhou is looking for the above position to meet the business needs.
Reporting Lines:
Report to: Senior Quality Manager
Job Purpose:
- Responsible for internal production operations.
- Centralize QC team’s weekly movement and adjust if necessary.
- Join the Pre-production meeting and collect developing team’s requirement.
- Initial Quality meeting with Tie 1 factories.
- Handle monthly report with Tie 1 factories.
- Assist team manager to deal with quality complaint if any
- Summarize QC monthly report.
Key Responsibilities:
Quality
- Ensures all production meets the company’s quality standards.
- Monitor process controlling, in-line quality control
- Ensures manufacturers are fully aware of quality needs.
- Works with factories to improve quality and manufacturing efficiencies.
Delivery
- Ensures company delivery objectives are met.
- Works with planning customer service ensuring accurate and timely communication of order status and production issues.
Personnel
- Manages all direct reports. Assists in establishing career paths for key individuals.
- Ensures all direct reports are fully trained in company procedures (includes inspector training program).
SEA
- Ensures factories comply with company SEA
- Ensures factories comply with local labor laws, reports back any violations.
Factory Relations
- Educates suppliers with company business needs and objectives, maintains a positive factory relationship via day to day communication and positive participation.
Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:
1. Bachelor degree
2. 5-8 years QC experience in football or shoes manufacturing industry
3. 1-2 years management experience
4. IT skills(e-mail, MS office)
5. Good English language skill in writing and speaking
6. Lean, 6Sigma background is plus
