RESPONSIBILITIES / ACCOUNTABILITIES:
1. Maintain master data (products, suppliers)
Create master data attributes in JDE and GDRP for both products and suppliers
2. Manage order processing between factories, copackers and countries
Ensure market demand and properly transmitted to factories
Purchase Orders will have to be manually created for copackers
Ensure factory and copackers can meet market demand
3. Monitor service to ensure supply continuity, escalate to the Hub any risk
Evaluate supply risk through regular communication with market/suppliers and take necessary actions to avoid service issue.
4. Track shipments to markets to ensure on time delivery
Track shipment using container Identification number
Identify any risk and actions required to mitigate those
5. Manage freight costs within agreed budget and tariff set by the Hub
Check and approve freight invoices in line with agreed tariff
Monitor container fill (optimization)
Get Hub approval for any Air Freight or any cost outside the frame set by the Hub
Track costs vs budget and escalate any risk to the Hub
6. Ensure planning parameters defined by the Hub are well applied
Submit to Hub approval any new parameters for new SKU
Control any parameter change and escalate to the Hub for approval
7. Manage inventory and reconciliation of any discrepancy
Control inventory level and highlight to the hub any high or low inventory requiring actions to be driven by the headquarter
Ensure PO are met in full and reconcile any discrepancy with debit or credit notes to factories
PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS/ EXPERIENCE
1. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
2. Very strong analytical skills
3. First experience in supply either in procurement, planning, manufacturing or logistics
4. High energy, ability to work in team
5. Good resistance to stress and influencing skills
PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES:
1. Personally committed to deliver against agreed objectives.
2. At least 3 years experience in industry in a multi discipline manufacturing operation.
3. Background knowledge of consumer goods manufacturing or packaging.
4. Track record of delivery, goal and customer service oriented, sets clear priorities and meets deadlines.
5. Good negotiating skills, able to align the different interests of internal parties
6. Creative and positive attitude, overcomes obstacles, good at problem solving.
7. Prepared to get involved, learn and apply knowledge and skills.
8. Accurate, understands data, facts and figures.
9. Strong communication and persuasion skills, both written and verbal.
10. Critical and cost oriented approach.
11. Combines a hands-on approach with a strategic vision.
12. Holds other in high regard, respects and listens to input from others, ensures that credit is given where due.
13. Ambitious and flexible. Capable of working completely independently.
14. Internationally mobile
