职位描述

Dongguan Sales Manager-Global Air Sea Freight Forwarding Co.

Location: Shenzhen

Key Responsibility

- Mainly focus CIF direct client in the local market including Air freight and ocean CIF (FCL or LCL) business.
- The business is including but not limited: Sea Freight, Air Freight, Warehousing, Transportation, Trucking, Supply Chain Service, etc.
- Understand the sales strategy for the local market.
- Actively develop the sales pipeline
- Ensure sales target are met through a robust sales plan through a smart approach
- Actively drive local sales through aggressively developing new sales from both existing and new customers, for the products that we are offering today
- Provide a regular update on market conditions and provide anticipated developments for same in order to adjust customer/market approach timely and correctly
- Maintain and develop relationships with clients as appropriate, championing their needs and driving team work within the regional area.
- Proactively set up sales development plans through the current customer base
- Find out customer needs and propose new products and ensure implementation of the same
- Assist to implement commercial policies in response to changes in market. (Fuel prices, customs regulations, etc.)
- Become familiar with local market products and competitors. (esp. local Chinese forwarders)
- Productively and aggressively to grow the current sales as well as to develop new business from the vast logistics market and the customer base that we have today
- Promote our branding and all provided services.
- Effectively communicate/cooperate internally (vertically/horizontally) and within our branch to ensure customers, demand and requirements are 100% satisfied and exceeded.
- Coordination with carriers.
- Execute the global carrier management strategy from global and country carrier management team.
- Formulate regional sales strategy and approach to market including local customer segmentation and specific value proposition consistent with overall client strategy.
- Recommend to Global Headquarter and Regional about the needs from the market.

Requirement
- At least 5 years in Sales with solid knowledge of forwarding business
- Fully accountable and responsible for meeting and exceeding personal sales targets
- Seasoned sales who can bring in with new customers and new business
- Passion, initiative and drive to continuously develop and serve clients both internal & external with creativity and innovation
- Measured on sales performance
- Proven track record on landing business
- Global view and sense.
- Creative problem solving capability.
- Advanced interpersonal communication skills.
