Summary of Client:
Our client is a big size Hong Kong group who manufactures high-end leather products. The products are mainly exported to European and American markets. Key customers are the world top handbag brand companies, such as Coach, DB, Burberry, GAP etc.
Reporting Lines:
Report to: Chief Human Capital Officer
Direct Subordinates: HR Manager, Administration Manager, Corporate Culture and Training Manager
Key Responsibilities:
Human Resources:
- Oversee full spectrum of HR functions, including HR planning, talent acquisition, training and development, compensation and benefits, and employee relations.
- Direct the development and execution of human resources strategies in alignment with the business visions and goals.
- Work closely with senior management in the implementation of policies related to human resources, organizational and employee development.
- Develop and refine reward management and remuneration policies and systems.
- Ensure the policies and procedures are in compliance with PRC labor law, as well as corporate direction.
- Provide support in developing people capability through talent management or training.
- Cultivate & maintain corporate culture.
- Build a professional and high performance HR Team which partner with other departments to drive better business results.
- Execute plans to enhance corporate governance; review and refine the code of conduct.
- Responsible for performance / KPI management.
Administration:
- Direct Administration Manager to lead admin team to build and implement an effective administration services and obtain high customer satisfaction.
- Oversee implementation of admin strategy and develop admin management target and plan.
- Develop and refine relevant admin management regulations.
- Manage in-house and out-sourcing service, including car/vehicles, Canteen, Cleaning, Gardening, and Security, Air Conditioning system etc , control admin service cost effectively.
- Prepare, monitor and control the manpower and budget of administration team.
- Fire protection system maintenance, fire emergency procedures implementation and supervision, hold fire protection management license issued by government.
- Plant security, first aid, personal protection equipment and visitor management.
Others:
- Recommend initiatives to address the ever changing business environment and lead projects/committees to meet business objectives.
- Re-organize company structures as directed by the company.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor degree, majored in Human Resources Management, Business Administration or relevant discipline. MBA is preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years relevant experience with 3 years in managerial level within multinational or sizable corporations which is more than 5000 employees.
- Experience in manufacturing industry is a must.
- Excellent knowledge of Chinese labour law, labour market, social security system.
- Excellent presentation, interpersonal communication, problem-solving and project management skills.
- Familiar with Ms Office.
- Good reading and written English, can communicate in English.
- Be proactive, flexible, with a positive attitude.
