We are seeking a Quality Control Supervisor to join our team at our new facility in Wujiang, China.
The Quality Control Supervisor ensures that the product provided by Kester is fit for use, is consistent, and meets internal and external requirements. The position coordinates all the activities required to meet quality standards. The QC Supervisor monitors and advises on the performance of the quality management system, produces data and reports on product performance, and measures against set standards. This position liaises with other managers and staff throughout the organization to ensure that the quality system is functioning properly. Where appropriate, the QC Supervisor advises on changes and their implementation and provides training, tools and techniques to enable others to achieve high standards of quality.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
? Achieve quality control operational objectives by contributing information and analysis to strategic plans and reviews; preparing and completing action plans; implementing production, productivity, quality and customer service standards; identifying and resolving problems completing audits; determining system improvements; implementing change.
? Meet quality control financial objectives by estimating requirements; preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions.
? Develop quality control plans by conducting hazard analyses; identifying critical control points and preventative measures; establishing critical limits; monitoring procedures; implementing corrective actions; monitoring inventories for supplies.
? Validate quality processes by establishing product specifications (working with R&D) and quality attributes; measuring production; writing and updating quality control procedures.
? Prepare quality documentation and reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing information and trends including failed processes, stability studies, corrective actions and re-validations.
? Maintain and improve product quality by completing product, company, system, and compliance audits; investigating customer complaints; collaborating with other members of management to develop new product and engineering designs and manufacturing and training methods.
? Monitor and approve staff timesheets and schedule time off.
? Manage/supervise team to achieve desired objectives as well as personal development objectives.

BASIC REQUIREMENTS
? Minimum five years of laboratory experience in a Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC), R&D, or engineering environment.
? Minimum three years of laboratory supervisory experience in a Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC), R&D, or engineering environment.
? Bachelor’s Degree in chemistry, engineering, or related field.
? Must be able to effectively communicate (read/write/speak) in English.

? Experience working for a multination corporation.
