A UK based company is looking for highly experienced candidates with a background in Stationery and Kitchenware and Plush to be based in either:

ZHEJIANG or SHANGHAI

The Candidates:

KITCHENWARE:

Must be experienced in all kitchenware products : Plastics / Silicon / Stainless Steel

Must have experience in working with INTERNATIONAL GLOBAL BRANDS

Have a good understanding of UK mass retailers of Stationery and Kitchenware and their price points.

Must have access to a large network of manufacturers in Shanghai and Zhejiang who specialize in the manufacture of stationery and kitchenware.

Be able to travel extensively in the region and to S.E. Asia as and when the business requires.

A preference will be given to candidates who live within Zhejiang and Shanghai.

Job duties:

· Be responsible for the suppliers sourcing, quotations ,product development management and delivery control;

· Be in charge of complete sales order management until shipment;

· Coordinate between customers and factories.

· Lead your team to handle development and operational issues which include samples ordering/ arrangement, cost/ price negotiations, late deliveries etc.;

· Work with key suppliers to deliver improved supply chain efficiently including greater flexibility, shorter lead times, re-engineering and margin improvements;

Requirements:

· Degree holder with 5 years managerial experience in buying or trading companies;

· Good command of written and spoken English and Mandarin;

· Intensive product knowledge and regulatory requirements are preferred;

· Good knowledge in communication and product development in promotion products

· Excellent negotiation and communication skills and very good externally at building relationships with vendors and internally with colleagues in Asia and the U.K.
