1) Assist with detailed reviews of the design/construction to verify compliance with the applicable agency standards.
2) Maintain and document regulatory approvals and certifications
3) Work with third party test labs to get products tested and certified in a timely manner
4) Interface with third parties, suppliers and Engineering team to resolve compliance issues
5) Follow-up with suppliers to ensure continued compliance on an on-going basis
6) Clearly communicate and industry standard requirements
7) Review Laws and Regulations
- Provide technical support and advice in regulations aspects
- Review lab test report, summarize and analyze results
- Support team projects
- Customer related or other Corporate Social Responsibility Issues
- Other tasks assigned by supervisors
8) Provide and direct technical guidance and design to development teams concerning regulation issues
9) Evaluate proposed new product design specifications to ensure future products are correctly designed for compliance to all applicable and/or pending standards and requirements
10) Lead in the development and refinement of internal Engineering Standards and Technical Guideline in the regulation compliance
11) Demonstrates, directs, documents and performs all necessary testing and analysis required to ensure that new SEL products comply with required standards
