POSITION SUMMARY & OBJECTIVE
Key Objectives
Be in-charge of corporate reporting for G-China as key data provider, ensure the accuracy and on time.
Provide necessary business data to G-China management team to support business decision.
RESPONSIBILITIES & REQUIREMENTS
Responsibilities
Financial Controlling
Work with cross functions and regional finance teams for annual budget;
Perform monthly management dashboard report and cash forecast reports;
Update forecasts by collaborating with business closely and control actual expenditure.
Accounting, Tax and Legal
Ensure accounts are reconciled and accurately stated;
Review and approve the management reports and statutory reports, and ensure compliance with US GAAP and PRC GAAP;
Review monthly, quarterly and annual tax filing on income tax, VAT and others surtax charges;
Prepare tax planning for plant transfer price to ensure adherence to China tax laws;
Support regional legal team on plant legal issues.
Business Support and Cost Control
Lead and support functional teams on cost saving projects, such as product localization, cost analysis on make vs. buy comparison, raw material yield improvements, slow moving materials, non-inventory purchase, and tooling audit;
Support the team on financial analysis for capital expenditure investment for decision-making;
Act as a business partner to support LEAN manufacturing, and help provide weekly KPI report to management;
Perform what-if analysis and ad hoc financial reports;
Support annual costing review with the cross functional teams (Operation Engineering, Planning and Purchasing, LEAN and Production) to calculate the activity rate;
Support Product Development team for cost estimates and analysis for new product launch;
Support the team for query of costing on BOM and Routing in SAP after product FOE.
Team Management
Oversee full spectrum of daily running of Dongguan Finance Department;
Lead, motivate and develop team members;
Lead the training on tax, accounting, SAP, Excel and presentation to finance team and cross function teams;
Lead the monthly issues review to find root causes for solutions and follow up actions;
Perform monthly 1:1 meetings with finance team members.
Requirements
Bachelor degree and above, with major in accounting or related subjects;
Solid financial costing knowledge and working experience in manufacturing environments;
5+ years of people leader experience;
Strong financial / business analytical skills;
Good team spirit with sound communication and interpersonal skills;
Be familiar with SAP system;
Good English and Chinese proficiency.
