Position Summary

Lead Asia both hand tools and accessories SQE team to manage all NPD projects quality and on-going products quality along with Milwaukee total quality requirements as part of the team.
Lead the whole SQE team to drive continuous improvement on quality in terms of hand tools and accessories.

Key Responsibilities
? Manage the day to day quality activities for SQE team.
? Lead the Asia SQE team to be the quality focal point for the supplier activities directed toward process quality control and quality assurance of all outsourced products, work with supplier to establish a structured approach for consistency and adherence to product drawing specification and Milwaukee quality requirements.
? Lead the SQE team to perform new supplier qualification audit, quality re-certification, process audit; part audit and product audit, issue report and follow up nonconformities.
? Lead the SQE team to manage all NPD project quality from the beginning of project to final approval and provide a weekly update to the cross-functional team on every single NPD project.
? Lead the SQE team to manage all on-going products quality and ensure timely delivery of quality products from a quality assurance perspective.
? Provide a support to the metrology lab and ensure the all parts are measured with zero errors.
? Lead the SQE team to establish the QB check list for product qualification building and approval in terms of WI; process quality control plan, FAI, supplier quality plan.
? Lead the SQE team to handle all accessories and hand tools receiving quality issue, product quality issues and warranty issue as well.
? Lead the SQE team to providing 8D CAR report on notification of customer complaint.
? Provide input and participate in both hand tools and accessories project team meeting for both NPD issue review & on-going product quality issue review..
? Supplier education.
? SQE Organization Development( SQE education, resources hiring, quality mindset etc)
? Along with Milwaukee global quality requirement, set up quality KPI goals and objectives, ensure the flawless execution and maintain the highest integrity level of SQE, suppliers..
? Define& layout monthly master audit plan in terms of quality system audit; part audit, process audit and product audit, issue report and follow up nonconformities.
? Generate monthly quality performance review report.

Person Specifications

? Bachelor or above degree in Engineering, Mechanical, precise metrology measurement or related field
? At least 10 years in Quality management/control working experience in manufacturing work environment with more than 2 years in quality manager or equivalent position experience.
? Be familiar with CMM measurement and metrology gauge designing is an advantage.
? Be familiar with steel materials, heat-treatment; machining and stamping (+) casting parts final assembly process is an advantage.
? Good standard in reading, written and spoken English
? Good communication, and interpersonal skills
? Able to work independently and pro-actively
? A self-starter with a 'hands-on' approach
? Strong leadership and good team work spirit
