职位描述

Responsibilities:

  • Market analysis, evaluation of alternative supply sources/materials, understanding applied technologies and processes at our suppliers.
  • Source new suppliers and negotiate the price for the products cost saving and work on a continuing cost reduction goal for direct and indirect materials.
  • Create, manage and maintain accurate data purchasing documents: records, quotation, potential vendors listing.
  • Prepare price and cost analysis and tender documents.
  • Release purchase proposal based on SO or other request, ensure proposal released properly.
  • Confirm PO accuracy and release timing, tracking the confirmation and shipment.
  • Track order execution and make necessary modifications when exceptions occur.
  • Monitor and report supplier delivery performance and take pro-active steps to ensure on time delivery.
  • Analyze the material inventory to make sure an appropriate inventory level is maintained and seek methods for continuous improvement to obtain the optimum inventory level.
  • Liaise closely with the buyer to ensure to fulfill material production needs, avoiding any material shortage against demand.
  • Maintain item price and vendor information in RTC’s ERP system, modifying planning when SO and/or BoM is amended or created.

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years relevant working experience.
  • CHIPS (European Standard) or equivalent qualified.
  • Bachelor degree in science related subject.
  • Experience with ERP system.
  • Proficiency in MS Word and Excel.
  • Good command of English for writing, listening and speaking. You are required to communicate with both domestic and overseas suppliers, and your direct report line may be foreigner.
  • Good communication and negotiation skill. Ability to manage large complex projects.
  • Interest to participate in many areas of business.
  • Based In Changshu, China, and will be Shanghai office for the first six months.
