New Centre Opening – Project Manager
Regus is the world’s leading provider of Serviced Offices / Business Centres with more than1500 locations in 600 cities in 100 countries around the world.
Due to the continuing expansion of the business a position has become vacant within the Asia Pacific management Team to support the opening of New Centres.
The New Centre Opening Project Manager (NCOPM) will report directly to the Projects Team Director, Asia Pacific and will be a single point of coordination of the activities related to building new Centres. The NCOPM will work closely with the Development, Finance, Operations and Sales teams to coordinate and manage the delivery of new centers across the Asia Pacific region following Regus design guidelines.
Key tasks:
- Work closely with the Development team in Asia Pacific to establish the feasibility of building new Centres in potential target buildings / cities.
- Assist in resolving legal issues related to building acquisition.
- Review specifications and agree scope of work with landlords, developers and JV partners.
- Develop and implement project strategies with key suppliers to take schemes through the full Project Cycle. Select, order, coordinate and administer all elements of the fitout, furniture and equipment.
- Manage the effective transition from building site to business center.
- Prepare the capex budget in conjunction with the development team for each new project.
- Manage each new project to assure timely delivery of the Centre within budget to the quality standards required.
- Work with the Development, Operations and sales teams to design efficient layouts that will deliver successfully operating centres.
Core Skills:
- Educated to degree or diploma level and financially astute.
- Previous experience in managing multiple projects, preferably in the area of property or accommodation.
- Highly effective interpersonal, communication and influencing skills (orally and in writing).
- Flexibility to accommodate frequently changing customer needs and changing workloads within the team.
- Demonstrable understanding of safety, heating, ventilation, air conditioning, power and office technology installations and the issues which effect building and architectural considerations within projects.
