Key responsibilities:

- Contribute to work plan development and hypothesis generation through literature review, hypotheses evaluation, and technical feasibility assessment.

-Acquire and improve new techniques and skills to process and characterize tissue and cell substrates in order to test hypotheses and evaluate actives.

-Design and execute experiments (cell culturing, treatment application, sample collection, measurement of biomarkers) with alignment with project leaders.

-Analyze study results and interpret the data, and generate next step plans.

-Compile study findings in professional formats and presentations to facilitate decision making.

-Contribute to bioscience laboratory housekeeping activities, including supply ordering, supplier sourcing, and material acquisition.

-Facilitate external connection to drive collaboration that will help project delivery.

-Develop core science knowledge and capability to become accountable for certain techniques and/or science areas, such as histology and follicle biology.

Main Requirements:

-Ph. D (or Masters with 3+ years of experience) degree in Life sciences/Bioscience

-Practical laboratory working experience in eukaryotic cell culture, enzyme assays and molecular biology techniques (nucleic acid and protein extraction, quantification, and manipulation) is essential.

-Strong histology skill and experience with hair follicles are major advantage.

-Prior exposure to tissue culture / engineering is a plus.

-Capable of working in team environment.

-Experience with use of standard computer packages for data analysis and literature searching.

-Good command of English in listening, speaking, and writing.

-Peer-review publication record is preferred.
