Based in Shanghai, China, the successful candidate will be a self-starter who likes to take responsibility and works best with little supervision. Likes to perform a variety of tasks and have the ability to handle multiple priorities and has previously performed in a similar position

Main Responsibility:

· Working as Firmware Test engineer for Storage product design validation

· Define new products Firmware test strategies, develop and implement test plans, test cases and scripts, test environments, test tools, verify designs according to product spec and customer requirement.

· Responsible for BMC or SES test case development of Storage baseboard Firmware.

· Responsible for compatibility testing between with different firmware (BIOS, BMC, SES) version.

· Responsible for help Firmware designer to duplicate issues.

· Develop and compile test utility, application used under windows OS and Linux/Unix environments.

· Ensure the quality of design products and minimize defects escapes to customers.

· Ensure the validation task be finished timely by well scheduled time frame, improving the test efficiency and automating the test execution.

Person Background

· Bachelor’s degree in CS or similar.

· Working experience: 4 + years

· Experience on Server or Storage project test.

· Knowledge of IPMI and server management, such as the concept of KCS, IPMB, I2C, RGMII, KVM, SOL.

· Knowledge of one or more of the following standards/technologies: SCSI, ATA, SES, RAID, SAS, SATA, SSD, SMART, PCI Express.

· Knowledge of Software testing and test case development.

· Knowledge of Linux Kernel or device driver environment.

· Good Assembly/C programming skills.

· Good experience of Perl or Good experience of Python.

· Good writing skills in English.

· Good oral English is a plus.
