Based in Shanghai, China, the successful candidate will be a self-starter who likes to take responsibility and works best with little supervision. Likes to perform a variety of tasks and have the ability to handle multiple priorities and has previously performed in a similar position

Main Responsibility:
? Working as Project Test lead for Storage product design validation
? Define new products test scope/test strategies with customer as a contact window, develop and implement test plans, test cases and scripts, test environments, systems and tools, verify designs according to product spec and customer requirement
? Define the high level test plan, test resource planning and allocation
? Provide input for diagnostic tools development
? Detail test plan/report review
? Issue management: Support R&D bug analysis/duplication, issue tracking and reporting; hold bug review meeting regularly to address all issues until closure ; Duplicate and solve Customer feedback issues.
? Test quality control: Ensure the quality of design products and minimize defects escapes to customers.
? Test schedule control: Ensure the validation task be finished timely by well scheduled time frame, improving the test efficiency and automating the test execution.
? Evaluate second source key parts.
? RFQ response
? Define test roadmap: co-work with team for new test cases generation aligned with new technology
? Transfer test skills to test execution engineer
? Test Process maintain and lesson learn management
? Must work closely and constantly communicate with various international teams, including development, QA, documentation, release management, marketing, tech support and customers.
? Test equipment and tool purchase forecast for new technology pursuit.

Person Background
? Bachelor’s degree in CS or similar.
? Working experience: 5 + years, especially at least having 1+ year test management experience
? Experience on Storage product（NAS,SAN,HBA, SAS,FC,FCoE,ISCSI,etc）
? Familiar with test tool Iometer, Burnin, Bustrace,Sanblaze etc.
? Good oral and writing skills in English.
? Knowledge of the following OS, Windows net 64, NT, XP, Storage 2008, Suse 32/64, Redhat and SUN Solaris
? Knowledge of C/C++,Java,Shell/Perl/Python programming languages is a plus
? Skills in compile test utility and an application is a plus.
