Responsibilities

*Develop new material quality according to Buyer's original fabric swatch for developing countries. *Copy equal fabric quality for Developing Countries whenever it is China's Supplier's own source or expensive Mill.
*Prepare quick sample yardages based on per season indication from Main Market PD's and R&D's and or based on quotation request.
*Negotiate fabric prices and make sure we get best deal (considering Mill's willingness to export the Fabric to developing countries)
*Be a speaking partner and coordinator for Trim sourcing & developing from China Main Market for developing countries.
*Prepare fabric board to keep ordered sample yardage info on section level and update it regularly.
*Monitor Fabric Mill's sample yardage performance and go through it with Material Team and Fabric Mills.
*Based on short and long term plan identify Fabric quality/capacity bottleneck and coordinate the need with Material Team
*Support developing countries to organize Fabric Mill visit to developing countries for better cooperation & communication

COOPERATION with Material Teams
Work on material inventory analysis in the beginning of each season and find out top qualities per section to support speed on sampling.
Coordinate with both Main Market and Developing Country's material team for support if there is any problematic issues e.g. quality, payment..etc.
Cooperate with material merchandisers if there is any need of tough case for price negotiation
Go through Fabric Mill's bottleneck and also performance and follow up the improvements.
If there is a need of adding new supplier, check with material sourcing responsible based on new supplier sourcing routine
COOPERATION WITH OTHER PO Offices
Work close with Main Market team ,PD's and Main Market R&D to develop & source Fabrics.
Work close with Main Market Label & Trim team to support developing countries.
Work close with Developing Countries Production Team to coordinate sample yardage and also bulk production delivery/quality/price
Work close with Developing Countries Fabric Team and Production Team for Bulk production complaints.
COOPERATION with SUPPLIER
Good communication with Mill's.
Developing Countries : Bangladesh/Vietnam/Indonesia
