China Primary Function: Titanium Dioxide(DTT)
Report To: Senior Key Account Manager
Location: Guangzhou

Job Description:
A key account manager is a self-starter who will drive the sales and growth target, develop and strengthen customer relationships and explore new growth opportunities with key accounts. The key account manager’s main tasks include developing and implementing highly strategic, thoughtful and deliberate account plan, driving revenue growth and long-term account penetration and profitability, leading internal and external alignment, overseeing day to day operations, and managing strong executive level relationship by presenting to customers, developing proposals and negotiating agreements to meet business requirements.

Major Responsibilities

? Drive results and be responsible for revenue growth, account penetration and profitability
1. Manage customer relationship
? Interact and communicate with the customer on a regular basis to determine changing tastes and preferences
? Navigate the customer’s organization structure skillfully to build trusting relationship with key decision makers and influencers
2. Develop strategic account plan & drive execution
? Gather, evaluate and interpret customer, market and competition information to generate business insights
? Develop a strategic, and comprehensive key account plan with short to long term strategy and opportunity pipeline that is in line with the overall business strategy and strengthen our competitive advantages
? Initiate business growth ideas, present to accounts, develop proposals, negotiate agreements, and implement tactically
? Ability to identify, evaluate and drive technical marketing collaboration initiatives through establishing strong relationships across marketing and technical functions in the customer organization and facilitating value adding initiatives at the customer led by DuPont technical/marketing or engineering resources.
3. Lead internal and external alignment and solve problem
? Lead account reviews and growth opportunity discussions with cross-functional team to accelerate opportunity realization
? Identify issues or barriers, manage conflict, lead discussion and negotiation, and solve problem effectively
4. Oversee internal and external operation
? Manage business on regular basis. Set up growth target with customer, conduct regular progress discussion, review final performance, and develop incentive scheme
? Coordinate day-to-day cross-functional activities related to pricing, quality, service support, supplies and demand creation
? Update customer forecast regularly and ensure forecast accuracy

Qualification:
? Above 7+ years sales and business management working experience with at least 5 years of account management experience in B-to-B market, preferably from relevant industry, with a track record of success in dealing with complex selling cycle and managing customers with high volume sales
? Knowledge of buying influences, negotiation, purchasing processes and value-based solution selling
? Strong initiative to identify growth opportunities, coordinate and drive actions to influence customer
? Ability to deal with complexity and ambiguity, handle conflict, and quickly respond to changing market dynamics
? Experience in managing cross-functional team
? Great presentation and communication skills
? Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese
