Our client is a Fortune 500, they are looking for high-caliber persons to fill the position.
Responsibilities:-
- Lead engineering support for the production of existing products. Lead and drive internal cross-functional team and OEM team to improve FPY. Track and resolve manufacturing and quality issues.
- Investigate and prioritize customer complaint issues, develop robust solutions and initiate Engineering Change Orders to complete customer issues in a timely manner with minimum affect on current production.
- Support NPI program, lead the China team to investigate and resolve product development issues, track sample delivery and production part release to grantee project release on schedule.
- Redesign existing production parts/assembly for Value Added Value Engineering purpose. Support production part 2nd source and localization for cost reduction and risk immigration benefit.
- Support new part suppliers develop. Drive variety of quality improvements on a wide range of local suppliers to meet Zebra increasing quality requirement (Molding Flow Rate, Metal Corrosion etc).
- Design and specify engineering documents (DWG/Spec). Model and draft DWGs with Zebra standard and perform tolerance analyses to secure robust design. Document and specify parts and assemblies (including materials, processes, tolerances, inspection techniques) in accordance with Zebra standards.
- Review existing specifications and test protocol/criteria from parts to finished printers level. Track test plan/schedule and review test reports for parts/product improvement and approval.
- Plan and track schedule of different projects. Organize every available resource communicate and lead the project team to complete tasks always in a timely manner.
