Annual Salary Package:
Monthly Basic Salary HKD 80K-100K + Bonus


Working Location:
Shanghai/ Beijing/ Shenzhen/ Guangzhou (travelling regularly in China)

Our Client is a very famous UK consulting company who specializes providing negotiation skills training/consulting all around the world.


Job Purpose:
Over the last fifteen years our client has grown from a standing start to over £25M annual business. Giving its clients a clear Return on Investment and having studied the science, behavior and the psychology of negotiating, the company has become a leader in its field.

Dedicated to strategic growth our client is keen to exploit its market potential, yet at the same time ensure that its growth rate is contained to a sustainable rate. The plan is to keep growing demand and awareness of our ‘brand’, bringing on the right team once the business warrants this, keep evolving and developing the products and sustain our operational excellence.

This position is a mixture of workshop delivery and consultancy combined with commercial input to the business.

This next appointment is a critical appointment where the organisation are looking to recruit a like-minded contributor who has strong business management skills and commercial acumen that will assist in the company exceeding £30M turnover within the next 12 months. The role will have a major contributory influence on delivery of the Asia Pacific Business Plan.


Key Responsibilities:

1. Providing and delivering Negotiating workshops
This will cover the entire portfolio of offerings that the company provide and will incorporate both “Open (public)” and “in-house” workshops. The workshops are often residential and require on average 3 consecutive nights away from home. The workshop will involve the use of audio visual equipment. Each Consultant is annually targeted to deliver at least 130 days of billable time.

2. Progressing Business Strategy
Help influence and implement the company mission, following the business strategy, assisting in the development of the company and with scope to contribute to the future strategy and direction of the business.

3. Business Development
Help grow the market share of the business and develop the company’s brand awareness. Input to marketing initiatives, and representing the company at events. Ability to develop a market specialism both within existing clients and new clients alike, establishing relationships and credibility.

4. Coaching and Supporting Clients
Following up with candidates after the workshops on a one to one level to ensure the implementation and practice of what they have learned. Ensuring candidates are learning and completing the processes required to complete the workshops.

5. Provide Consultancy Services
Assisting clients with advice, on-site development, mock negotiations, devising negotiation strategies, development of needs analysis and client support.

6. Return on investment analysis
Providing clients with details on their ROI over the three months after candidates have completed the workshop.

7. Intellectual Property Development & Development of Programmes
Assisting in the continual development and innovation of workshops and products, course materials and other company intellectual property in order to ensure the longevity of the success of the company.

Job Requirements:
Experience:
1. Experience of commercial negotiating essential
2. Experience of presenting in front of an audience essential
3. Experience of consultancy preferred but not essential
4. Experience of public speaking an advantage
5. People Management skills.

Language: Must be fluent in Mandarin (native) and English

Education: Degree educated preferred but not essential. Business /commercial acumen and an intellectual approach must be demonstrated.
