CLIENT SUMMARY
Our client is one of the largest companies in the building materials and housing equipment industry covering Asia Pacific, Europe, North America, and Middle East. It provides Metal & Architectural Materials, the Kitchen & Plumbing Fixtures, and the Electrical & Electronic Equipment to more than 30 countries.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide finance support to the business, partnering with the manufacturing and other functional team, support JV CFO to drive operating performance, enhancing the financial performance of JV and profitability while ensuring good controllership.
- Prepare business plan, annual budget, monthly forecast/analysis and monthly business review on financial results to the JV and Headquarter.
- Provide financial reporting in accordance with the requirements of China Local Accounting Law and principles as well as international accounting principles applied by Headquarter.
- Participate in developing and establishing financial policies & procedures and promote best practice.
- Ensure adherence to all internal or external control policies and procedures, responsible for the compliance with PRC GAAP & J-SOX.
- Monitor and ensure the proper preparation of local audited accounts, tax returns in compliance with regulatory and statutory requirements
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance or related field.
- Minimum 8 years’ hands-on finance work experience including minimum 3 years’ managerial experience in manufacturing multi-national companies.
- Strong financial technical skills (China GAAP and taxes, manufacturing finance).
- Able to anticipate, identify, and resolve complex financial issues
- Profound experience in budgeting and financial reporting
- Proven analytical skills, able to clearly link financial results to operational performance drivers
- Excellent communication skills, fluent in written and verbal English, fluent in Japanese is a plus.
- Experience in leading a financial team.
- Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks and assigns appropriate priority.
- Proven track record in building relationships and working with a various levels of people
