Our client is one of the largest companies in the building materials and housing equipment industry. It provides the Kitchen & Plumbing Fixtures, Metal & Architectural Materials and the Electrical & Electronic Equipment to all over the world.



POSITION DESCRIPTION
The site HR Leader needs to play a business partner role to oversee the full spectrum of HR and Administration management in SZ facilities, to align HR strategy with plant management strategy, lead the continuous improvement of HR key policies/process and its implementation in plants, such as talent acquisition, competitive compensation and benefit, performance management, talent development and employee engagement, prepare human resources pipeline to develop the organizational capabilities of plants.



POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
Staffing:

  • To establish staffing strategy as well as relevant policies/procedures in plants to meet the human resource demands of plants, and ensure its effective implementation;
  • To work out staffing plan with business managers, and ensure its timely accomplishment;
  • To identify talents for key positions (managerial position and above) of plants, involved in the screening such candidates;
  • To monitor the hiring progress, ensure the hiring efficiency and quality in a cost effective manner;

C&B:

  • To establish proper C&B structure as well as relevant policies/procedures and ensure its implementation;
  • To regularly review salary structure as well as related C&B policies/procedures, assure its compliance with labor law/regulations, ensure its market competitiveness with proper labor cost management;
  • To monitor the labor cost, provide expertise to business managers in enhancing personnel productivity with appropriate human resources;

Learning and Development:

  • To establish comprehensive training policies/procedures in plants, develop the capabilities and competencies of employees to support the plant accomplishing its goal successfully;
  • To coach business managers in terms of developing employees as well as retaining those excellent employees;
  • To develop HR and Administration team, continuously enhance their capabilities and competencies;
  • To establish the connection with training vendors, jointly develop courses/programs suitable for plants with the support of L&D team in HQ;

Performance Management:

  • To provide expertise in supporting business managers in performance management, advise proper approaches to timely recognize employees with good performance, and solid actions to manage low performers;
  • To monitor annual and mid-year performance review, ensure its progress with good quality;

Employee Relation:

  • To establish a platform for open communication between business managers and employees as well as amongst employees;
  • To provide expertise in dealing with employees with misconduct in complying with labor law/regulations;
  • To deal with interdepartmental/interpersonal conflicts;

Administration Management:

  • Lead administration management, to provide effective administrative support to the plant management team;

Compliance:

  • To be a gate keeper and role model for the strict implementation of company’s compliance policies;
  • Liaise with all local labor authorities, and deal with labor disputes if there are;

Others:

  • To support HR/Admin tasks and projects assigned by HQ.



POSITION REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree and above, majored in Human Resources Management, Business Administration or equivalent;
  • Minimum 10 years’ and above Human Resource’s working experience in manufacturing environment, incl. 5 years’ managerial experience, organization integration experience is plus;
  • Demonstrated ability to make independent decisions, evaluate people, manage conflicts in a dynamic environment and effectively interface with business managers at various level;
  • Solid labor law knowledge;
  • Open minded, strong interpersonal and influence skill, excellent communication and coaching skill;
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills, able to work effectively under pressure;
  • Process and detail oriented, good planning and execution management skills;
  • Good command of English incl. listening, reading, writing and speaking ability;
