Ascoustic Engineer
Requirements:
- Degree holder in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, Acoustics or Physics
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in audio consumer electronics/manufacturing
- 1-2 years of experience in product development and/or experience in earphone, headphone, or audio product design & development is preferred
- Design & implement prototype speaker and microphone sub-systems (transducers, amplifiers, enclosures).
- Experience in acoustical tuning of headphones (ear canal, circumarual, supraaural, in-ear)
- Knowledge in acoustic measurement and related design software (AP, MlSSA, CLIO, DASS, LEAP, AJhorn)
-Fluent with speaker test software (MLSSA, Soundcheck, Kippel)
- Needs to have ability to set-up R&D department for acoustics (e.g. testing room/testing equipment, design procedure & system)
- Good understand of tolerance analysis, process capability study, FMEA, FEA and concurrent engineering approach
- in-depth knowledge of plastic mold structures, plastic characteristics, engineer compounds, as well both process and material for plastic injection, plastic extrusion, metal die-casting, metal extrusion, metal stamping
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), 3D CAD/CAM software, Solidworks, AutoCAD
- Excellent command of English required
