TI's SIMPLE SWITCHER@ Product organization is seeking an IC Design lead with strong leadership skills and design engineering experience to lead Shanghai design team. Products designed in this organization include state of the art DC/DC switching converters, wide-range input voltage and load current Power modules, and high-power density Nano module and regulators.
Here, you'll have opportunities to explore innovative design techniques and lead/work with a staff of new and experienced designers who enjoy the challenges of Power Management and technical development. Responsibilities include but not limited to:
? Determine design approaches and parameters.
? Develop circuit architectures to solve new problems and evaluate tradeoffs
? Detailed, transistor level design of analog and digital circuits for new and derivative power management products.
? Oversee product layout to meet performance and cost targets
? Evaluate, characterize, and debug new silicon
? Interfacing with test, product and applications groups to successfully bring new products from initial concept through release to production.
? Ability to find and fix complex integrated circuit problems
? Participates in the entire product development cycle, from product definition through product release
? Provide technical guidance and leadership to other designers
Required Skills: The ideal candidate must have the following key requirements for this position.
? BSEE with 10+ years of relevant experience with strong background in power management analog circuit design.
? Proven track record of success in release of complex Power Management products to market.
? Thorough understanding of detailed analog circuit design and the ability to design independently various functional blocks such as amplifiers, LDO, bandgap, high-voltage and high-current drivers, current sensing, thermal sensing, etc. required in development of Power Management products.
? Experience with various switched mode power conversion topologies and strong understanding of control loop of these topologies
? Strong device physics background and understanding of submicron BCD technologies.
? Good oral and written communication skills.
? Dynamic, creative thinking and problem solving skills.
? 2+ years recent experience as a design lead
