ABOUT DIRECT HR:

Responsibilities:
Director Engineering (Chief Engineer)
1) will be responsible for the complete system design according to customer’s requirement.
2) will lead different departments for mechanical and electrical design, software, testing, strength calculation, RAMS and documentation, surface treatment and chemical processes as well as the Industrial Engineering.
3) will work in an international environment and you will have good opportunities to contribute with your knowledge to continuous design improvement. You will be part of the Management Board and report directly to the General Manager.
Detailed Responsibilities:
+ Lead and develop the whole engineering department
+ Drive product engineering activities through design, development, and execution to ensure timely deliveries
+ Facilitate and manage new product introduction, product transfer initiatives and transition requirements from front end development to sustaining process and product needs
+ Support the operations management to ensure optimization of production so that the products are delivered exceeding customer quality expectation and in a timely and cost-effective manner
+ Develop process and methods for creating, supporting and maintaining an organized, clean, visually managed high performance focused factory
+ Support business development by providing engineering support and customer solutions, and representing our product at customers and fairs
+ Initiate continuous improvements strategies, processes and disciplines throughout engineering teams
+ Initiate and support shop floor problem analysis, solution simulations and implementation of improvements
Requirements:
+ Bachelor or higher degree in mechanical, electrical or process engineering
+ Above 15 years of experience in heavy industrial manufacture engineering with hands-on and full cycle experience
+ Experience related to train system, elevator, escalator or automotive industry is preferred
+ Above 7-years of experience in different functions’ engineering leadership role in multi-national companies
+ Proficient knowledge and experience of oversea business code, standards and regulations
+ Proficiency in AutoCAD and Pro-E engineering design software and SAP
+ Strong leadership and superior communication skills with the ability to mentor, manage and develop engineering staff
+ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, result orientation and ability to work under high pressure
+ Be reliable, honest, open-minded and flexible
+ Be able to travel domestically and oversea
+ Fluent oral English and excellent written English is required
