MANAGEMENT/SUPERVISORY SKILLS

? Leads project team assignments of moderate scope requiring expert technical skills or good understanding of business functions. Coaches, mentors and trains team members.
? Interfaces with customer and other relevant entities to ensure project objectives are achieved.
? Communicates issues openly, honestly, and timely with peers, management and customers.
? Makes presentations to stakeholders to help obtain buy-in and support.


SOFTWARE APPLICATIONS

? Participates as project member on a full range of projects to create integrated solutions. Works with vendors and regional teams to ensure clear understanding of functionality issues. This also includes working with
? Tests for effective integration of new and existing applications.
? Resolves business issues and recommends IT solutions.
? Supports business process improvement through optimization of staff, process, and technology.
? Analyses performance metrics and recommends application changes.
? Provide training on a regular basis


HARDWARE SUPPORT

? Install, configure, document and maintain personal computers, file servers, LAN/WAN networks and other related equipment, devices and systems to ensure compliance to company requirements.
? Investigate user problems, identify their source, determine possible solutions, test and implement solutions.
? Implement network security, managing host security, file permissions, backup and disaster recovery plans and file system integrity.
? Establish and perform maintenance programs following company and vendor standards.
? Investigate, recommend and install enhancements and operating procedures that optimize network availability.
? Maintain confidentiality with regard to the information being processed, stored or accessed by the network.


QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCES
? Minimum academic qualification is a Diploma in Computer Science or IT related disciplines.
? At least 2 years experiences in managing a group of IT staff.
? Minimum 2 years experiences in Freight system applications support and administration.
? Able to work under pressure and tight schedule and proactively.
? Good in spoken and written English and Chinese.
? Ability to work in a team and independent setting.
? Possess a positive and can-do attitude
? Demonstrated ability to solve problems by investigation and engage with others to explore and develop pragmatic solutions to problems.
? Highly developed customer service orientation with the ability to establish effective working relationships and collaborative work approaches with internal external contacts.
? Ability to multi-task and prioritize conflicting demands effectively under tight time constraints.
? Knowledge in PC server troubleshooting and network support.
? Good understanding of Local Area Networks, Wide Area Networks, including routers, subnets, firewalls, gateways, proxies, and wireless access points.
? Must be self-motivated and able to work with minimum supervision.
? Holder in MCSA/MCSE/CCNA is an advantage.
