JOB SUMMARY
Under the Dorel Home Funishings Group (DHF) strategi guidance, coordinate for project process with strong support on product development, sample tracking, production package coordination and customer presentation. Provide support to DHF China teams and divsional representatives

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
? Track sample ready dates, as well as quotations, from all suppliers and provide information to divisional managers regarding this information. This should be done on a timely basis to the specific people designated by each division of DHF.
? Get photography instruction from the DHF division offices and coordinate sample delivery. Work with the local studio on product photo taking, including props, cropping and file format, as DHF divisions give input.
? Coordinate on new items with the Project Developer/Engineer, Project Manager (Divisional) and the supplier to ensure that the supplier has updated product specifications and package information for production.
? Responsible for the custom clearance for samples from divisions and commodity inspection.
? Coordinate with DHF division representatives for customer presentations. This includes sample shipping, receiving, assemble, showroom set-up and subsequent showroom clean-up. Also, the position is reponsible for printing, copies, and all signage related to the presentations.
? Reponsible for providing administrative support and reporting for the DHF China team, including project management and quality data support.
? Coordinate sample shipping to DHF Divisional offices or customers, as needed.
? Coordinate with the DHF Divisional representatives on the disposition of unneeded samples.
? Other job assignments as given by Direct Report

JOB SPECIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
? College or above education is essential.
? Sales, Merchandising or Project Development related work experience at a foreign company preferred.
? Minimum 3 years work experience in export industry, prefer in home furnishing product line business.

SKILLS:
? Good command of English and Chinese in both speaking and writing is essential.
? Good planning skills
? Attention to detail
? Confidence in using computer packages, such as spreadsheets and databases
? Ability to work under pressure to deadlines.
? Ability to deal with a variety of issues at the same time.
