Responsibilities:
· Procurement Link in factory, report procurement KPI’s on factory level (incl. Saving, key projects progress including cost and supplier performance improvement)
· First point of escalation for delivery/quality issues, etc. at line, factory level,
· Manage and optimize the current supply base, executes factory related supplier improvement actions
· Early involve in Chengdu NPI projects, act as Site Supplier and Material masterdata owner, check and validate procurement contractual data in MRP (lead-time, price etc.).
· Implementing actions from VE & DfX in factory’s, support price negotiations with fact-based information and opportunities to drive short term product cost reduction improvement for site.
· Support Customization & Engineering to Order Projects in pricing negotiation when required

Requirements:
· Bachelor or comparable diploma in Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical or Electronic Engineering
· 3-5 years of experience in a product assembly-type industry or factory, in engineering, procurement engineering/purchasing, supply chain related functions or supplier quality management function.
· Strong experience and knowledge in the mechanical industry, understands changing cost drivers for the area supported and the subsequent cost impact on the assigned product.
· Understanding the basic principles of Executing Cost Down projects, Value Engineering, materials / goods flow, has experience in SCM related IT systems such as SAP. Etc.
· Able to read and understand blue prints and other engineering documentation is preferred.
· Good interpersonal skills in managing conflicts and dealing with suppliers.
· Good communication skills (Written and Oral) in both Chinese and English
