MAIN ROLE

The Finance Controller - China will report directly to the CFO based in Canada. The position will act as business partner for the management concerning financial and controlling issues, and take full responsibility of company finance function which covers the maintenance of company fiscal records, the preparation of financial reports, the planning and forecasting process, and the management of cash flow, the compliance of local statutory requirements, and the tax and bank activities.


RESPONSABILITIES

? According to strategic plan, set the finance target, finance management and internal audit
? Manages the daily accounting activities
? Prepares financial statements and management reports, meeting the deadlines
? Develops finance and accounting systems, policies, procedures and controls, and ensures compliance with internal policies and local statutory requirements
? Accurately and efficiently controls and predicts the cash flow.
? Supervises all tax filings including VAT, Enterprise Income Tax, Individual Income Tax, etc.
? Management and controlling on cost control, internal control
? Optimizes the finance management system, complete accurate accounting system and consolidation
? Ensures any licenses and permits necessary to do business are acquired and complied with
? Ensures controls are in place and in compliance with rules to ensure proper authorizations segregation of duties, and documented procedures
? Statutory reporting should comply with local requirements
? Ad Hoc reporting and related analyses for the management teams
? Assists with internal and external audit compliance which are periodically performed
? Supports the corporate project across global region
? Aligns interventions with overall business strategy
? Works very closely with the Global Finance team


CRITERIAS

? University Graduates with Accounting major, preferably CPA qualified
? At least eight years experience in Finance Management with at least four years as an autonomous generalist supporting regional key senior business leaders
? Proven Finance track record in working in an international environment i.e. working for a company with oversees offices in Asia Pacific
? Demonstrated ability to collaborate with colleagues-ideally has worked in a matrix organization
? Results oriented: capable of designing and implementing tactical and operational plans in support of the corporate strategy.
? Customer focused
? Very strong business acumen to link the business strategy to Finance practices
? Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain strategic relationships with customers and partners
? Strong communication skills verbal and written in both English and Mandarin
? Highly organized with very effective time management skills
? Able to demonstrate objectivity when making difficult decisions to manage trade-off
? Maintain Finance cutting-edge expertise, focus on ongoing financial development
? Demonstrated ability to successfully conduct business remotely in various cultural environments
? Analytical with financial modelling capabilities
? Strategic thinking and strong implementer
? Cost management account knowledge
? Forward looking scenario based on management accounting facts
? Advanced proficiency with Excel is required
? Demonstrated experience in process improvement.
? Good knowledge of PRC accounting and taxation principles, local statutory regulations, and International Accounting Standards
? Regular travel required
? Position can be based in Dongguan or Shanghai, China
