Main Responsibility:

Analyze the developments/quotations, make sure all is clear.
- Suggest alternatives and work proactively in order to reach best price, quality &
lead-time. Work together with PD, R&D and technicians
- Send the development/quotation to best suitable suppliers (according to capacity
strategy set by PM team)
- Use price history list, planned production units, capacity plan as tools when
distributing quotations to H&M suppliers
- Get back the quotation from the suppliers and analyze the price according to our
price method, quality and lead-time. Send best package to buyer.
- Give feedback to supplier regarding price and possible requests for
improvements.
- Follow up deadlines for developments/quotations as per preorder method.
- If an order is confirmed check that all details are correct and correspond to what has
been agreed.
- In case all details are clear transfer order to Production Merchandiser for follow up.
- Strengthen cooperation with R&D team, Production Merchandiser team and
Technicians in order to secure best garments for bulk production.
- Make risk assessment together with R&D and Lab in preorder stage.
- Share knowledge/problems with rest of the teams to improve and learn by our mistakes.
- Create a good dialogue with buyers in Sweden.
- Take full responsibility from the time the order is received from quotation team until
the order has been shipped.
- Analyze the order upon receipt together with Senior Merchandiser and Quotation
Merchandiser.
- Follow up the order by using OFS System, use deadlines as a help to keep track of
order status. Make sure TOD is on time.
- Work actively with the samples together with technician.
- Work actively with risk assessment on fabric and sample quality tests and
communicate with suppliers.
- Be proactive and take more initiatives & solve problems and share them with the
rest of the group (Quotation Merchandiser. R&D, Technicians, QCs, Lab and COC)
- Create a good dialogue with buyers and assistants in Sweden. Understand their
priorities and act accordingly.
- Take more approvals and decisions in Production Office.
- Ensure effective order handover to supplier to secure on time delivery and best quality.
- Keep track of suppliers' production plan to ensure on time delivery.
- Keep close contact with the suppliers to know status of orders at all times


Main Requirement:

- Bachelor degree, major in Textile Engineer, Industrial Engineer, BA/Economy Degree
is preferred.
- Good knowledge of H&M suppliers' concerning price, quality, capacity & lead-times.
- Experience of Textile/garment production, preferably experience from similar position
in supplier or representative office.
- Good command of written and oral English
- Good communication skill
- Business minded and interest in fashion
