Trade Marketing Manager
Reports To: Senior Trade Marketing Manager Location: Guangzhou
*************************************************************************************************
To assist Senior Trade Marketing Manager in planning, implementation, control of promotion programs to grow sales and deliver profitable volume and value by matching brand strategies. It is also required to provide support on the day-to-day management of trade marketing operation.
Key Responsibilities:
? Propose, develop, execute, tracking and evaluate the promotion activities and account specific activities, in cooperation with the sales team;
? Manage the promotion budget and resources effectively, and establish sound evaluation and feedback process for overall marketing effort;
? Control promotion spending vs. budget and report accordingly;
? Take initiatives to increase effectiveness of trade/ marketing investments in China region.
? Support in-store display planning and implementation in China region;
? Collaborate with internal stakeholder including: sales team, promotion team and brand team, to drive special programs achievement for the China region;
? To collect data on trade, market, sales competitive information for channel promotional analysis;
? Ensure best practice sharing competitor trade/ marketing initiatives to brand team;
? Help to build the implement best practices guidelines / database;
? To help identify Best Practices in Trade Marketing Management from own initiative or competitors and feedback to Marketing Services Manager and Senior Trade Marketing Manger to help improve on Trade Marketing Management of the Company;
? Perform ad hoc assignments as requested by Marketing Services Manager and Senior Trade Marketing Manager.
Requirements:
? Tertiary degree and with sound track record;
? Minimum 5 - 7 years of trade marketing experience (Skin care industry highly preferable);
? Experienced in promotion planning methodology and vendor management;
? Strong communication and inter-personal skills;
? Independent, analytical mind, active team player, self-motivated, detail-oriented, logical thinking and with strong sense of urgency;
? Building and leading a team;
? Strong PC user experience (Microsoft office, PowerPoint, Excel, Word, etc.) and presentation skills;
? Frequent travel within China mainly when needed.
